现金娱乐网注册 created the Small Agency and Faith-Based Organization 能力建设 资金 Pilot to assist small agencies and FBOs offering services to individuals experiencing homelessness in SPA 6. Small agencies and FBOs that meet the eligibility criteria can request funding for projects aimed at enhancing their organizational capacity to sustain and expand direct services to individuals experiencing homelessness.

现金娱乐网注册 will hold multiple information sessions throughout the application period, and it is highly recommended that all interested organizations attend.

The first informational session will be held on Thursday 5/30 from 4-5pm.

组织 必须 meet the 5 criteria outlined below to be considered for this round of funding. 然而, we welcome small agencies and FBOs providing services to people experiencing homelessness but do not meet all the eligibility criteria to apply as a means to introduce themselves to us and express interest in technical assistance and future funding opportunities.

1. Entities that are either a small agency or Faith Based Organization as defined here:

• 小机构: a legally recognized organization or entity, whether nonprofit or private, that is in good standing to do business within the State of California.
• Faith Based Organization: a legal entity that is in good standing to do business within the State of California and is either a ministry of or affiliated with a faith community. 组织 affiliated with a faith community do not have to be connected with a specific religious institution.

1. Entities that provide services in Service Planning Area 6 (see Appendix for a map and list of zip codes in SPA 6).
2. Entities that provide direct services to people experiencing homelessness. This could include providing emergency or interim shelter, 金融援助, 支持服务, 基本需求服务, supporting organizational collaboration or housing collaborative spaces.
3. Entities that have an annual operating budget of $300,000 or less.
4. Entities that have been operational for at least 3 years.

The 能力建设 Request for Proposals (RFP) is supported by United Way’s 现金娱乐网注册 For Good Funders Collaborative (Funders Collaborative) and 现金娱乐网注册. 通过这个RFP, non-profit homeless service providers and developers in Los Angeles County can apply for funding to strengthen their operational infrastructure and internal processes. The overall goal of capacity building is to help organizations enhance the quality of service delivery to unhoused individuals in the community and progress towards achieving their mission.
